ST. PETER, MN - Emmy Graff (Boulder, CO/Connections) and Grace Marra (St. James, NY/Smithtown East) of the Utica University gymnastics team achieved All-American status after competing in the All-Around at the NCGA National Championship, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus this afternoon.
Marra has now earned back to back All-American titles in the all around, as well as adding a third accolade in the floor exercise to her resume. Marra placed seventh in the all around, combining for a score of 37.775. Marra scored a 9.425 in the vault, a 9.000 on the uneven bars, a 9.525 on the balance beam, and a 9.825 in the floor exercise. Marra's 9.825 on floor was good enough to fall into a tie for sixth place in the event.
Graff has concluded her incredible freshman campaign with an eighth place finish in the all around, earning Graff the title of All American. Graff combined for a score of 37.350. Graff scored a 9.225 on vault, a 9.075 on the uneven bars, a 9.600 on the balance beam, and a 9.600 in the floor exercise.
