ROCHESTER, NY - Six members of the Utica University women's indoor track and field team have been named to Empire 8 All-Conference teams, as announced by the league on Tuesday.
Hannah Allison (Herkimer, NY/Herkimer) has received her second Empire 8 All-Conference selection after being named to the third team in high jump. Allison's third place finish at the Empire 8 Championship, with a 1.58m jump, garnered her the selection.
The distance medley relay team of
Catherine Manna (Whitesboro, NY/Whitesboro),
Lilly Messler (Washingtonville, NY/Washingtonville),
Madalyn Haaf (Pompey, NY/Fabius-Pompey), and
Marlo Townsend (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) garnered second team honors after a second place finish at the Empire 8 Championship, with a time of 12:52.13. This is each member's first All-Conference selection.
Amelia Petersen (Fonda, NY/Fonda-Fultonville) has received her first Empire 8 All-Conference selection after being named Utica's Sportswoman of the Year. One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2025 E8 Women's Indoor Track and Field Sportswoman of the Year Team. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen.
