UTICA, NY - The Utica University women's track and field team will be attending the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Indoor Championships on Friday March 7 and Saturday March 8, 2025. This meet will be hosted by Ithaca College at the Glazer Arena in Ithaca, NY.

Event Schedule: Day 1 track events begin with the Heptathlon 60m at 11:00 am and ends with the men's 4x400 beginning at 6:50 pm. Field events start at noon with the women's pole vault and finish off at 5pm with the women's long jump and the men's shot put. Day 2 track events start off with the heptathlon 60 hurdles at 10:00am and the last event is the 4x200 men's relay at 3:00 pm. The day finishes off at 3:30 pm with team awards.

Track Qualifiers: The Pioneers qualified for the AARTF Championships in 10 events. In the 60m
Nyasia Marsh (Westmoreland, NY/Westmoreland) qualified with a time of 8.01 at the Empire 8 Championships this past weekend.
Shiann Williams (Bronx, NY/Hydel) qualified for both the 200m and the 400m with times of 26.19 and 58.45 respectively. At the Empire 8 Championships two Pioneers qualified for the 3000m.
Marlo Townsend (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) qualified with a time of 10:30.63 and
Catherine Manna (Whitesboro, NY/Whitesboro) achieved a time of 10:32.67. The distance medley relay team consisting of Manna,
Lilly Messler (Washingtonville, NY/Washingtonville),
Madalyn Haaf (Pompey, NY/Fabius-Pompey), and Townsend solidified their spot with a time of 12:52.13.
Field Qualifiers: Hannah Allison (Herkimer, NY/Herkimer) will be competing in the high jump after making her qualifying leap of 1.61m. Both Marsh and
Nora Devitt (Beverly, MA/Beverly) qualified for the long jump events with leaps of 5.33m and 5.30m respectively. Devitt also qualified for the triple jump event with a mark of 11.20m. Also qualifying for this event is
Zeniyah Gholson (Monticello, NY/Monticello), with a leap of 11.05m.
Riley King (Oswego, NY/Oswego) was the only Pioneer to qualify for the weight throw after throwing a mark of 15.75m last month.
Stefania Grimaldi (Poland, NY/Poland Central) is competing in the pentathlon after scoring 2853 points at the Blue & Orange Invitational and Multi. Freshman
Isabella Frick (Longmeadow, MA/Longmeadow) is also competing after achieving 2599 points last weekend at the Empire 8 Championships.
Up Next: The qualifying Pioneers will be going to the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on Friday March 14 and Saturday March 15, 2025 at 10am. This meet will be hosted by Nazareth University in Rochester, NY.
