CORALVILLE, IOWA, - Women's wrestling saw Jazmene Molina (La Mirada, CA/Valencia) complete day one at the NCWWC national championships at the Xtreme Arena on Friday.
 
Molina started the morning with a 12-10 decision loss against Ashley Cannon of Simpson. Molina won the first period 7-3 and Cannon won the second, 9-3.
 
Molina won her second match against Jada Fowler of Frostburg State 10-0. She dominated the whole match, scoring five consecutive points to secure the victory.
 
In her final match of the day, Molina won 13-4 by decision over Kalli Roskos of Ursinus College. Molina completed the first period up 5-0 and Roskos scored four in the second, but it wouldn't be enough as Molina would take the victory.

Molina begins tomorrow against Lorianna Piestewa of Colorado Mesa University.
