Mackenzie Mix (Camden, NY/Camden) and Nolan Shea (Williston, VT/Champlain Valley Union) have been selected as the Pioneer Athletes of the Week for the week of April 7th, 2025.

Mix had an outstanding weekend at the Hamilton Outdoor Invitational, winning the 400m for a second consecutive week with a 59.40. She has now placed first five times in the 400m throughout her spectacular career. Later on, Mix continued her dominance with a first-place finish in the 200m, finishing in 25.90.

Shea had an outstanding week. Shea recorded a career-high seven points this past Saturday against Keuka scoring six goals and one helper. He tallied 26 total shots over the last two games with 56.3% of the shots being on goal. In the game against St. John Fisher, he tallied three shots with two being on goal, and had one ground ball.
