BALDWINSVILLE/CAMILLUS, NY - Utica University's women's golf team closed the fall portion of its 2026-27 schedule with back-to-back Northeast Women's Golf Conference events on Monday and Tuesday. The Pioneers first competed in the NWGC Fall Invitational at Foxfire Golf Club before taking on the NWGC Fall Classic at Camillus Golf Club. With three golfers competing for Utica, the Pioneers did not record a team score in either event.
At Monday's Fall Invitational,
Claire Draper (Watertown, NY/Watertown) led the orange and blue with a 97 (+25) on Foxfire's par-72 layout, tying for seventh among 25 golfers.
Jordan Dorrity (Constableville, NY/South Lewis Central) followed in a tie for 17th with a 112 (+40), while
Sianna Kenyon (Ilion, NY/Central Valley Academy) placed 19th after shooting 114 (+42). Draper's round featured a back-to-back pars, while Dorrity also recorded two holes at par.
Draper again paced Utica at Tuesday's Fall Classic, shortly after being named to the Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team for her performance at the conference's Fall Invitational earlier this month. The sophomore carded a 95 (+22) on the 5,800-yard, par-73 Camillus Golf Club course, tying for 16th in the 30-player field. Dorrity turned in Utica's largest improvement from Monday, cutting nine strokes with a 103 (+30) to place 25th, while Kenyon lowered her score by two strokes with a 112 (+39) to finish 29th. Each Pioneer recorded at least one hole at par, with Draper and Kenyon each carding three, and Dorrity with one.
The Fall Classic concludes the fall semester of competition for Utica women's golf. The Pioneers will now break for the winter before returning to the course for the spring portion of the 2026-27 season.
