PITTSFORD, NY - Utica University's women's golf team competed across two days at the Nazareth Fall Invitational, with three Pioneers taking part as individuals. The event opened at Ravenwood Golf Club before concluding Monday at Locust Hill Country Club. Claire Draper (Watertown, NY/Watertown) led the orange and blue with a 13th-place finish, while Sianna Kenyon (Ilion, NY/Central Valley Academy) followed closely in a tie for 14th and Jordan Dorrity (Constableville, NY/South Lewis Central) placed 18th.

Draper opened the weekend with Utica's best round, shooting a 90 (+18) at Ravenwood to sit tied for eighth after day one. The sophomore followed with a 109 (+37) at Locust Hill, finishing the tournament at 199 (+55). Kenyon remained close behind throughout the event, carding rounds of 97 (+25) and 107 (+35) for a two-day total of 204 (+60).

Dorrity closed the Invitational with Utica's largest day-to-day improvement. After opening with a 110 (+38), the senior cut seven strokes from her score on Monday, shooting 103 (+31) to finish at 213 (+69). Her final round was highlighted by a birdie on the par-five 17th hole at Locust Hill.

With all three Utica golfers competing as independents, the Pioneers did not record a team score or placement. The women will return to action alongside the men on October 11th and 12th, when Utica heads to Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club in Cicero, NY, for the Empire 8 Fall Invitational.
