Bailey Hewson (Plattsburgh, NY/Plattsburgh) and Jordyn Davis (Hempstead, NY/Uniondale) have been named the Pioneer Athletes of the Week for the week of October 26, 2026.

Bailey Hewson (Plattsburgh, NY/Plattsburgh) had a productive final week of the regular season for the Pioneers, registering a team-high five points on two goals and one assist across three matches. Hewson delivered a standout performance in the Pioneers' 7-0 Empire 8 win over SUNY Poly, finding the scoresheet three times with a pair of goals and an assist. She recorded the game winning goal against Poly while leading the team with six shots, including three on goal. Across the week, Hewson recorded eight shots, placing four on frame. Her five points led all Pioneers, and accounted for 25 percent of the team's 20 offensive points as the Pioneers secured two conference victories over SUNY Poly and Elmira. 

Hewson and the Pioneers will face off against Nazareth University in Round 1 of the Empire 8 playoffs on October 31, in Rochester, NY.

Interior defensive juggernaut Jordyn Davis (Hempstead, NY/Uniondale) was stellar in the trenches for the Pioneers during their 35-0 win against Alfred University, leading a defensive unit that allowed just six rushing yards to Tommy Nyquist and a strong Saxon running game. Davis got involved with four tackles, three of which were solo, along with two sacks and an additional quarterback hurry, providing a powerful presence at the line that stopped all Saxon momentum during the shutout. 

Davis and the Pioneers will face St. John Fisher University on Saturday, October 31, in Rochester, NY.
