2016: Started one game for the Pioneers throughout the season and appeared in six … He tied for first on the team in fielding percentage with 1.000 to pair with four putouts.

2015: Played in just five games during the season while starting two of them … Recorded seven total at-bats and was walked twice … In the field he earned a .938 fielding percentage to go with his 16 putouts.

2014: Horning played in 12 games while starting nine for the Pioneers…Recorded 26 at-bats and five walks… Registered 14 putouts on the season… Had a season-high five putouts at Houghton College (4/19/14)…  Finished the season with a 1.000 fielding percentage.  

2013: Horning started in four of 14 games played … Recorded four hits in 14 at-bats for a .286 average … Hit his only double of the season against Keuka College (4/24/2013) … Appeared in seven games as a pitcher , recording a 0-3 record … Allowed 16 hits and seven earned runs in 8.2 innings pitched for a 7.27 ERA … Walked three batters and struck out two … Allowed one hit and a walk in 2.1 scoreless innings against Ithaca College (4/14/2013).

Personal: Joseph is a 2012 graduate of Canajoharie High School … He is the son of Melissa and Mark Horning and is pursuing a degree in Health Studies-Physical Therapy.
