2016:  Appeared in ten games for the Pioneers over the course of the season and made nine starts … In 26 at-bats he tallied four hits and scored one run … He also hit one double that came in the sixth inning in a game against Calvin College (3/14/16) … He also contributed in the field with six putouts and 11 assists.

2015: Played in 20 games while starting in 14 of them during the year … In his first game as a Pioneer he recorded his first career hit, first career triple and scored his first career run in a 4-3 victory over Crown College (3/17/15) …  Had hits in five of his first six games of the season and provided the team with nine runs batted in and three doubles over this stretch … During his hot streak early on in the season he displayed a great performance against MCLA going 2-for-2 at the plate with not only his first career double but included his first career homerun … Also during the contest against MCLA he recorded his first career RBI while ending the game with four RBI’s (3/18/15) … He also helped in the field finishing the year with 13 putouts and 28 assists.

Personal: Andrew is a 2014 graduate of Clinton High School … He is the son of Jackie and Andrew Hobika and is currently undecided.
