2015: Played and started in all 18 games for the Pioneers during the season … He tied for the lead on the team with the most minutes played with 1313 … With three points on the season he finished with one goal and one assist … He scored his only goal of the season in his efforts against Skidmore College which ended up forcing the game to go into overtime (10/13/15).

2014: Played in 18 games while starting 16… Scored his only goal of the season in a 2-0 win over St. John Fisher (10/25/14)… Recorded 1,107 minutes of play on the season… Named the College’s male athlete of the week (10/27/14) after scoring his first collegiate which proved to be the game-winner against St. John Fisher … Helped Utica secure five shut outs and guided the defense to a 1.40 goals against average … Held opponents to one goal or less in ten of 19 games.

2013: Appeared in 12 games for the Pioneers and started one ... Recorded his only point (one assist) of the season in a 4-0 win over Bard College ... Had five shots for the year with two being on goal.

Personal: Matthew is a 2013 graduate of Christopher Dock High School and is the son of Jackie and John Beljan ... He is currently pursuing a degree in Business/Economics.
