UTICA, NY – Utica College junior Ciara McIlvenney has been named the college’s Female Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
McIlvenney had two goals, one assist, and five shots on goal last week. She had one goal off of one shot on goal in a 2-1 loss against Clarkson. She had one goal, and one assist off of three shots on goal in a 4-1 victory over Alfred. In the final game last week she had one shot on goal in a 4-1 loss against St. John Fisher.
She now has seven points on the year off of three goals and one assist. She is second on the team in points, tied for second on the team in goals, and is tied for first on the team in assists.
The Pioneers (3-9-2, 1-4-0 Empire 8) are home Saturday against Empire 8 Conference opponent Houghton. The game is scheduled for 4 p.m.
