UTICA, NY – Freshman Michael Fredrick of the men’s hockey team has been named the College’s male athlete of the week, Monday, for his performance over the weekend.
 
Fredrick had 29 saves in a 2-1 win over #14 Neumann on Friday and had 32 saves in a 2-2 tie of Neumann on Saturday. He has 501 saves, a .940 save percentage, and a 1.90 goals against average so for this year.
 
The Pioneers return to action on Friday January 29 as they travel to face #3 Hobart in an ECAC West Conference match up. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
