UTICA, NY – Junior Nicodemus Gambill of the Utica College men’s track and field team was named the College’s Male athlete of the week for his performance at the ECAC Track and Field Indoor Championship last weekend.

Gambill finished in first place in the 60-meter and the 200-meter dash at ECAC’s … The first place victory qualified Gambill for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 60-metter and 200-meter event, which will make it his second appearance at the NCAA’s … Gambill was also named the Atlantic Region Track Athlete of the Year earlier this week.

The national championships are in Grinnell, Iowa at the Grinnell College’s Benson Bear ’39 Recreation and Athletic Center held this Friday and Saturday.
