UTICA, NY- Utica College sophomore men’s hockey player Justin Derlago was named the ECAC West Conference Player of the Week and the Utica College Male Athlete of the Week after his impressive play in the Pioneers two games over the weekend.
            Derlago totaled two goals and two assists in games against Nazareth College Friday, and SUNY Potsdam on Saturday. His standout performance came on Saturday where he tallied a career-high two goals and one assist in the 5-3 victory over the Bears.
            It was the first time Derlago has scored on the season and his first career multi-goal game in his two seasons with the Pioneers.
            Utica College is now 11-7 on the season with a 6-1 record in ECAC West play. They return to the ice on Friday and Saturday with conference games on the road against Neumann University and Manhattanville College. Puck drop for Friday and Saturday are both at 7p.m.
