UTICA, NY- Junior attacker Brooke Miller of the Utica College women’s lacrosse team was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for her performance in the Pioneers’ two victories last week.
 
On Tuesday, Miller tied her career-high with seven goals as the Pioneers topped Cazenovia 18-6.  She followed that up with a pair of goals to help lead UC to a 17-7 victory over Houghton to open conference play.  On the season, she ranks second on the team with 16 goals and she is third with 17 points. Miller also ranks ninth in the Empire 8 Conference averaging 2.67 goals per game.
 
The team returns to action on Tuesday for a home matchup against Morrisville State. The opening draw is scheduled for 4 p.m.
