Utica, NY - Sophomore Katie Delgado of the Utica College women’s swim & dive has been named UC Female Athlete of the Week for her performances in the UC Quad Meet and Hartwick Quad meet this past weekend.

Delgado notched the best individual finish on the day, placing fourth overall in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 27.87 in her collegiate debut at Utica College.

She also took home fifth overall in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 2:10.71 alongside teammates Sara Kuiken, Kira Seaman and Rebecca Merrill. 

The women's swim & dive team returns home to host Hamilton College on Friday, November 16 at 5:30 p.m., before heading back on the road the following day for the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational in Rochester, New York.
