UTICA, NY – Senior offensive lineman Jeff Muha (Adirondack/Boonville) has been named to the 2005 Don Hansen's Football Gazette NCAA Division III All-American Honorable Mention Team and the East Region Offensive First Team.

Muha, who was also selected to the Empire 8 Conference First Team, guided an offensive attack that compiled a program-high 226 points. Muha blocked for running back Mike Capra (Schenectady/Schenectady), who broke Pioneer single-season records of yards in a season (946), yards in a game (274), and 100-yard rushing games (5).

Always placing the team ahead of individual glory, Muha has played multiple positions in the past (punter, tight end, fullback) before moving to the offensive line this past season.

The Pioneers enjoyed their most successful season to date, recording their first-ever winning season at 6-4 overall, including three key conference victories. The team also placed a program-record 12 student-athletes on the Empire 8 All-Conference teams.
