Clarkson 117, Utica 93 Women Swim & Dive Final
Utica, NY (1-19-13) – The Utica College men and women swim and dive teams were swept by Clarkson University Saturday afternoon at Fuller Pool in Potsdam, NY. The UC women battled the Golden Knights however lost 117-93 while the men were downed 125-37.
The Pioneer women fall to 1-8 overall while the men dropped to 3-5 on the season. The women Golden Knights garnered their first win of the season and are 1-5 while the men moved to 4-1-1.

Sarah Parker (Dover, NH/Dover) teamed up with sophomore
Amy Dumary (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa) and freshman Jessica Schuman for a victory in the 400 meter relay to lead the women. Dumary and
Jordan Hess (Victor, NY/Victor Senior ) also tallied second place finishes in their respected events.
Freshman standout Raphael Warnon guided the men with a second place finish in the 100 meter backstroke clocking a final time of 1:06.46.
The Pioneers return home for back-to-back contests to wrap up the regular season beginning Saturday Jan. 26th when they welcome Empire 8 rival Nazareth College. UC will then host St. Lawrence University on Feb. 2nd in the season finale. Both competitions are scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
