WEBSTER, NY - The Utica University swim and dive program finished day two of the Empire 8 Championships on Thursday night. The women ended the day in fourth place with 148 points and the men sit in fourth with 94 points.

Paige Levine (Holtsville, NY/Sachem East) did wonderful in the women's 500 yard freestyle placing second in the second heat finals with a time of 5:31.64.
Bailey Simmons (Vernon Center, NY/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) participated in the same heat and finished ninth clocking in 5:46.00.Â

Ainsley Vyse (Glastobury, CT/Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy) came in fifth place in heat two of the women's 50 yard freestyle with a time of 26.99. Jackson Sorbello placed ninth in heat two of the men's 50 yard freestyle clocking in at 23.09.

Bailey Simmons (Vernon Center, NY/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) placed fifth in the women's 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:47.19.
Kira Seaman (Fort Edward, NY/Hudson Falls),
Aimee Oswald (Reading, PA/Exeter Township),
Annabelle Workman (Carthage, NY/Carthage), and Kimberly Serio placed seventh in the finals clocking in at 2:05.24.

Jackson Sorbello, Nick Massa, Phillip Ross, and Ronald Batario came in eighth place in the men's 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:34.57.
