UTICA, NY (January 19, 2015) – The Utica College men and women swim and dive teams are back in action Saturday as they get set to host Nazareth and Cobleskill in a three way competition.
Meet Details: The contest is set to begin at 1 p.m. and will take place at the Utica College Pool in the Clark Athletic Center … The pool features a 10-lane, 25-yard by 6-lane, 25-meter pool, 1-meter diving board, and balcony seating for 185.

th to visiting Alfred University … Heading into the contest, the men had won four of its last five while the women won three of four … The men lost 138-50 while dropping to 5-4 on the season while the women were downed 141-57 and fell to 4-4.
Junior standout Raphael Warnon headed the men's squad with the Pioneers lone victory of the day and totaled 13 individual points while freshman
Phoebe King (New Bedford, MA/GNB Voc Tech) guided the women with seven points in her respective events.
Warnon took home another victory in the 100 yard backstroke clocking a time of 58.03, grabbing nine team points. … He also placed third in the 200 yard free collecting three points with a watch of 1:58.64.
King led the women's squad with seven points, over two events, as she placed second in the 200 yard freestyle (2:09.48) and third in the 100 yard backstroke (1:10.55).
Taking a Look at "Naz": Both Golden Flyer squads presently occupy a 2-3 overall record … Both team defeated St. Lawrence by 30+ points back on Nov. 15

Scouting the Fighting Tigers: The Cobleskill women currently hold an 8-3 overall record while the men occupy an 8-2 mark … The men have won five straight while the women have strung together four consecutive wins, all convincingly … In its last time in the pool, the women placed sixth, out of six teams, while the men finished seventh, out of seven teams, at the RPI Krumpf Invite.
