Pioneers Down SUNY Poly in Home-Opener

UTICA, NY – The Utica College baseball team snapped a four game skid Wednesday as it downed local rival SUNY Polytechnic Institute, 9-7, in non-conference action at the Utica College Baseball Field.  The Pioneers were led by junior pitcher Josh Luczak (Ava, NY/RFA) who tossed seven innings allowing four runs while striking out three for his second win of the season.
