UTICA, NY – The Utica College men and women swim and dive teams hit the road to take on Alfred Friday and SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday. The meet starts at 1 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Halfway Through The Season: The men's team is 5-3 halfway through the season and has wins over Bard, Wells, and three wins over Cazenovia … The men's three losses have been against Hartwick College, St. Rose, and Skidmore.

The women's team is 2-7 at the midway point and has wins over Wells and Bard College … The teams seven losses have been to Hartwick, St. Rose, William Smith, Skidmore, and three losses to Cazenovia.

Last Time Out: UC last competed on Saturday December 5 against Cazenovia College … The men's team was victorious winning 110-14, while the women's team fell 141-93.

Scouting Alfred: The men's team is 1-4 while the women's team is 2-5 so far this year … The women's team is coming off of a 172-68 win over Wells and a 166-75 defeat by Le Moyne College on Wednesday … The men's team was defeated by Le Moyne on Wednesday 167-124 … Both the men and women teams have a victory over the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

Scouting SUNY Cobleskill: The men's team is 5-2 and currently on a four meet win streak while the women's team is 4-3-1 and currently on a two meet win streak … The women's team has victories over Bard, Alfred, Gallaudett University, and Wells, while the men's team has victories over Bard, Mount Saint Vincent, Cazenovia, Gallaudett University, and Wells College.

Looking Ahead: The Pioneers continue their road trip as they travel to take on Nazareth College Saturday January 23 … The meet is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
