COBLESKILL, NY – The Utica College swim and dive teams both earned victories over SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday. The men's team improved to 6-4 after defeating the Fighting Tigers 101-77. The women's team improved to 3-8 after earning a 78-45 victory.
 
The men's team had several first place finishers including Raphael Warnon (100-yard breaststroke), Tim Tellekamp (50-yard freestyle), Chris Halsey (1,000-yard freestyle), Daniel Angotti (200-yard freestyle), and Aaron Gudrian (200-yard I.M.).
 
The women's team also had several first place finishes including Alyson Baribault (Plantsville, CT/Southington) (1,000-yard freestyle), Phoebe King (New Bedford, MA/GNB Voc Tech) (200-yard freestyle), Grace Gallentine (Clifton Springs, NY/Midlakes) (50-yard freestyle), and Katie Skipp (Albany, NY/Albany) (200-yard I.M. and 100-yard butterfly).
 
The Pioneers return to action Saturday January 23 when they travel to take on Nazareth College. The meet is scheduled for 1 p.m.
