Alex Finnegan (Bay Shore, NY/Islip) leads the team with 10 points off of three goals and a team high seven assists … Finnegan is also tied for sixth in the Empire 8 Conference in assists per game (1.75) … He also has nine ground balls and two caused turnovers to his credit so far this season.
Sophomore Duo: Ryan Desveaux (Bowmanville, ONT/St. Stephen Catholic) leads the team with six goals this season … Desveaux has netted at least two goals in three of the four games so far this year … Fellow sophomore
Nick Yelich (Lancaster, NY/Depew) is third on the team with seven points off of three goals and four assists.
Freshman Sensation: Dominic Castiglia (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) is second on the team in points (8), and goals (5) while being third on the team in assists (3) … Castiglia came to UC from Liverpool High School and this past Summer he was the only player from Central New York to qualify for Team USA U19 indoor lacrosse team … As a member of team USA he participated in The World Games, September 11-13 in Six Nations, Ontario, Canada.
Protecting The Net: UC has used four goalies this year … Senior
Andrew DiOrio (Greenlawn, NY/Harborfields) and junior
Parker Smith (Dexter, NY/General Brown) have seen the most action while freshmen
Harrison Bower (Northport, NY/Kings Park) and
Brad Schulman (Airmont, NY/Suffern) have filled in … Smith is seven in the conference in goals against average (5.54), he is eighth in save percentage (.667) and he is 10
th in saves per game (4.00) … DiOrio is fourth in the conference in saves per game (11.67).
Defense: Tied for fourth in e8 conference in caused turnovers per game (1.75)

Tyler Nicolaus (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) Against Brockport: This is the first meeting between Utica and the Golden Eagles in program history.
