Utica, NY – The Utica College women's swim and dive team is on the road Saturday, for a dual meet against Nazareth College. The competition is set to begin at 1 p.m.
 
Last Time Out: Accumulating a total of 521 points at the meet, the Pioneers came in first place at the ECC Long Course Invite.
 
Phoebe King (New Bedford, MA/GNB Voc Tech) earned first place in the 50-meter and 100-meter freestyle events with times of 28.92 and 1:04.77 respectively. King also placed first with a time of 2:25.43 in the 200-meter freestyle.
 
The trio of Meagan Stanton (Chemung, NY/Waverly), Daniela Hannah (Dalton, GA/Northwest Whitfield), and Domenica Risucci (Utica, NY/Whitesboro) came in first/second/third during the 100-meter backstroke race. Hannah was able to swim a time of 5:37.20 on her way to a first place finish in the 400-meter freestyle event.
 
Kaite Skipp and Rebecca Merrill (Chelmsford, MA/Chelmsford) finished first/second in the 100-meter butterfly with times of 1:23.46 and 1:23.88. Kelcey Madigan (Waverly, NY/Waverly) earned second place in both the 100-meter and 200-meter breaststroke.
 
Scouting Nazareth: Nazareth lost its last dual meet against the University of Rochester, 169-125, making its record 4-1 in dual meets this season.
 
Brittany Heffler placed first in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke events with times of 1:09.55 and 2:33.32 respectively. Kaela Santos clocked in at 1:01.50 for a first place finish in the 100-yard butterfly.
 
Kathryn Batz, Taylor Robey, Hefler, and Santos teamed up to win the 400-yard medley relay race with a time of 4:07.95. Batz, Robey, and Santos then joined Bridget Geary for first place in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
 
Freshman diver Taylor Woltz won both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events with scores of 254.01 and 252.52.
 
Looking Ahead: The Pioneers return to action on January 27th, as they travel to compete against St. Lawrence University. This meet is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
