UTICA, NY - The Utica University swim and dive teams both went undefeated at home on Friday night. The women's team beat Cazenovia College 122-72 and SUNY Delhi 121.5-39.5 while the men beat Delhi 96-65.

Paige Levine (Holtsville, NY/Sachem East) continued her hot streak after winning the women's 50 yard backstroke clocking in at 33.27. Levine also won the women's 100 yard freestyle coming in at 1:00.50. Levine collected her third victory of the day placing first in the women's 50 yard butterfly and teammate
Sara Kuiken (Valley Falls, NY/Tamarac) placed second.
Kira Seaman (Fort Edward, NY/Hudson Falls) won the women's 100 yard butterfly in convincing fashion with a time of 1:14.81 which was 13 seconds better than second place. Seaman also won the women's 100 yard breaststroke at 1:23.42.
Bailey Simmons (Vernon Center, NY/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) continued her winning streak as she placed first in the women's 50 yard freestyle with a time of 27.05. Simmons also placed first in the women's 100 yard backstroke at 1:12.11.
Annabelle Workman (Carthage, NY/Carthage) won both of her diving events to help bring home key points for the Pioneers.

The men won the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:56.87. Phillip Ross collected first in the men's 50 yard backstroke with a time of 29.77 which was eleven seconds better than second place. Jackson Sorbello and Ronald Batario took home the top two spots in the men's 50 yard freestyle to bring home crucial points for the men's team. Sorbello and Ross took the top two spots in the men's 100 yard freestyle both clocking in under 58 seconds. The trend continued as Nick Massa and Ross took home the top two places in the men's 50 yard butterfly. Sorbello continued his dominance in the men's 100 yard individual medley with a time of 1:01.24, nearly seven seconds before second place.Â

The teams will return after the semester break to host Alfred University on January 13 at 1 p.m.
