ROCHESTER, NY - Nora Devitt (Beverly, MA/Beverly) wins Empire 8 Women's Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday.
 
Devitt earned 2024 Empire 8 Indoor Track and Field Championship Field Athlete of the Meet honors after winning the long jump with a leap of 5.56 meters and triple jump with a tremendous leap of 11.45 meters. Devitt is currently 29th nationally in the long jump and 35th in the triple jump.
 
Those who are qualified will travel to Nazareth University for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Indoor Championships. The meet will occur on Friday, March 1 at noon and Saturday, March 2 at 10 a.m.
