Jordyn Davis (Hempstead, NY/Uniondale) has become the fourth Pioneer to be named to the D3football.com Team of the Week during the 2025 season. The Pioneer captain led a strong defensive unit against a tough Morrisville rushing attack this past Saturday, helping put an end to the Mustangs comeback bid on the final drive. 

Davis led a defensive front that was sturdy throughout the entirety of the Pioneers' 27-21 win over Morrisville, with the Pioneer Captain racking up nine total tackles (four solo) from his spot on the interior defensive line. Davis eliminated the Mustangs' ability to generate anything in the middle of the field, halting the opposing run game, and even the pass game too, as he logged a key breakup in the final moments of the matchup. Davis also managed to record a tackle for loss to wrap up a career day.

The Hempstead, New York native currently leads the team with 3.5 sacks and four quarterback hurries. He also has three pass breakups, showcasing his disruptive nature at the line of scrimmage. Davis and the Pioneers will be on a bye week this weekend before heading to Alfred University next Saturday.
