UTICA, NY - The Utica University women's track and field team will host the Blue and Orange Invitational & Multi on Friday, February 7 at 5 p.m. and Saturday, February 8 at 11 a.m. The heptathlon and pentathlon will take place on Friday and all other events on Saturday at the Todd & Jen Hutton Sports Dome.

Event Schedule: Friday heptathlon events include, the 60m sprint, long jump, shot put, high jump, 60m hurdles, pole vault and the 1000m run. Pentathlon events include 60m hurdle, high jump, shot put, long jump and an 800m run.
Best of the Best: Starpower will be on full display at the Blue & Orange Invitational. There will be a handful of top-20 NCAA performers from each team.
Up and Out: Senior
Nora Devitt (Beverly, MA/Beverly) competed in two events at the John Thomas Terrier Classic. Starting off in the long jump Devitt placed 18th with a mark of 5.05m in an intense competition. She also competed in an equally intense match-up in the triple jump where she placed 15th with a leap of 10.78m. Newcomer
Isabella Frick (Longmeadow, MA/Longmeadow) had a great performance in the 60m hurdles at Boston. She began the day with a fifth-place finish with a time of 9.92. This run made history making this not only her best time of the season but also ninth all-time in program history.
Settin' Marks: Central New York natives
Marlo Townsend (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) and
Catherine Manna (Whitesboro, NY/whitesboro) competed in the mile run in Boston. Townsend's mile cemented her in the fourth all-time in program history with a time of 5:26.52. Manna was right behind her, running a 5:27.79.
Nyasia Marsh (Westmoreland, NY/Westmoreland) and
Shiann Williams (Bronx, NY/Hydel) both competed in the 200m and obtained new personal records. Williams ran a 26.28 followed by Marsh close behind with a 27.35.
Teams Attending: This weekend, 21 teams, including Utica, will attend the meet. They include TCNJ, Hamilton, SUNY Cobleskill, St. John Fisher, Vassar, Lock Haven, SUNY Plattsburgh, RPI, SUNY ESF, Colgate, MVCC, SUNY Potsdam, Misericordia, Wheaton, Russell Sage, SUNY Geneseo, Hartwick, Bard, and SUNY Cortland.
