ITHACA, NY - The Utica University women's indoor track and field team competed at the All-Atlantic Region Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday evening.
In the weight throw, Riley King (Oswego, NY/Oswego) landed in eighth place with a throw of 15.47m, while Hailey Hrouda (Wappingers Falls, NY/Roy C. Ketcham) followed in 36th place with a mark of 12.95m.
In the high jump, Hannah Allison (Herkimer, NY/Herkimer) cleared 1.62m to secure seventh place. Allison's jump cleared the previous school record of 1.61m that Allison set earlier this season.
In the triple jump, Nora Devitt (Beverly, MA/Beverly) placed seventh with an 11.21m leap.
In the 3000m run, Catherine Manna (Whitesboro, NY/Whitesboro) placed 18th with a time of 10:35.69, while Marlo Townsend (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) followed in 20th place with a time of 10:42.10.
Qualified athletes will now take on the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 14th and 15th, hosted by Nazareth University.
