2014: Played in 11 games… Rushed 170 times for 765 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns… Had two games with over 100 yards rushing… Finished the year as the program’s all-time leading rusher with 1,846 rushing yards… Also has most attempts in program history with 393… Caught six passes for 40 yards… Named Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week for his career-high 197 yards, four touchdown performance in Utica’s 47-24 win over Hartwick.

2012: Played in nine games… Rushed 175 times for 873 yards and seven touchdowns… Rushing mark second-highest in program history for a single season… Had five games with over 100 yards rushing, including two with 141 yards or more… Caught 39 passes for 332 yards… Had five games with four or more receptions, including a career-high 10 in UC’s 55-20 loss to St. John Fisher… Returned five kicks for 96 yards… Became the third running back in program history to rush for over 1,000 yards in a career… Named to the Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team.

2011: Played in 10 games… Rushed 48 times for 208 yards and two touchdowns… Ran 13 times for 92 yards and two touchdowns in Utica’s 38-28 win over Rensselaer… Caught eight passes for 63 yards… Returned 23 kicks for 594 yards and one touchdown (which was his only return in the Pioneers’ 48-35 win over St. Lawrence)… Named Special Teams Player of the Year by the coaching staff.

Personal: Jesse is a 2010 graduate of Mt. Sinai High School and is the son of Lori and Jaime Baldassare … He is currently pursuing a degree in Communications.
