2014: Played in 11 games… Punted 49 times for a career-high 2,012 yards… Punted inside the opponent’s 20 yard line 18 times, with eight games where he did it twice… Had six punts of 50 or more yards… Had two 50+ yard punts in the Pioneers’ 42-7 loss to St. John Fisher… Finished his career at UC with the second-most punting yards in program history with 5,390… Named Empire 8 Special Teams Player of the Week in consecutive weeks (September 15-21, September 22-28)… Named to the Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team… Named Special Teams Player of the Year by the coaching staff.

2013: Played in 10 games… Punted a career-high 50 times for 1,991 yards… Punted inside the opponent’s 20 yard line 11 times, with three games where he did it twice… Had 11 punts of 50 or more yards… Had three punts of 50 or more yards in Utica’s 34-0 loss to Salisbury… Named to the Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team.

2012: Played in 10 games… Punted 37 times for 1,387 yards… Punted inside the opponent’s 20 yard line 10 times, including two games where he did it at least three times… Had two punts of 50 or more yards… Named an Empire 8 All-Conference Honorable Mention.

Personal: Dakota is a 2011 graduate of Alden High School and is the son of Toni and William Peel … He is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management.
