Senior Kevin McAllister, of the Utica College men’s soccer team was named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week on Monday.

McAllister had two goals last week as the Pioneers finished the week with a 1-1 record. Both of McAllister’s goals came in a 3-0 shutout win against visiting Wells College on Tuesday night, as the forward scored back-to-back goals in the second half to give UC the non-conference win.

McAllister has six goals on the season, which ties him for the team lead. It also places him seventh on the scoring leaderboard in the Empire 8 Conference. He now has 62 points for his career, which is good for second on the College’s all-time list.

Following a Tuesday nonconference match at Hamilton College, the Pioneers look to continue their playoff push as they visit Alfred University on Saturday at 1 p.m.
