Utica University Athletics

Utica, NY (3-17-14) – Junior Megan Kane of the Utica College women’s lacrosse team was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week Monday for her efforts on the turf this past week.

Kane led the Pioneer s to a 13-11 victory on Wednesday over Clarkson University on a game-high six points on five goals and one assist. She recorded also registered a game-high ten shots for UC. She leads the team in points with 14 on 11 scores and three assists.

The Pioneers return to action Thursday as they head to New London, NH to face Colby-Sawyer College.  Face-off is set for 4 p.m.
