Junior Nicodemus Gambill of the men’s track and field team was named the College’s male athlete of the week for his performance on Saturday.
 
Gambill finished first and had a record setting performance of 6.96 in the 60-meter dash, which is good enough for the fourth fastest time in the country for DIII. He also finished first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.63, which was good enough for second in the nation.
 
The Pioneers return to action on January 16th as they host the Harold T. and Bernadette Clark Invitational. The meet is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m.
