UTICA, NY -- Junior midfielder Julian Fonseca totaled five points in three contests last week on his way to being named the Utica College Male Athlete of the Week. 

Fonseca totaled a career-high four points and tallied his first collegiate goal as the Pioneers cruised to a 6-0 win over New Rochelle on Saturday.  He also added one assist on the Pioneers’ lone goal against Clarkson on Wednesday.

He currently leads the Empire 8 Conference with four assists through five games this season.

Utica (3-2) returns to play on the road Wednesday afternoon when it travels to Morrisville State to take on the Mustangs in non-conference action at 7:30 p.m.
