UTICA, NY — Senior Aaron Gudrian was named the Utica College Male Athlete of the Week on Monday.

Gudrian recently led Utica with two individual first place finishes and one relay title in a win over St. Lawrence University on Saturday. Gudrian picked up a win in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:10.18, nearly ten seconds faster than the second place finisher.  Gudrian also came in first in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:10.70. 

In 14 meets, the senior has come in first place nine times this season, including two meets where he came in first in multiple events. 

Gudrian and the men’s swim and dive team have one more swim meet before the Empire 8 Championships. They are scheduled to host Clarkson University on Saturday February 3 at 1 p.m.
