Utica, NY - Senior Ka'Sean Watlington of the Utica College men's track & field team has been named UC Male Athlete of the Week for his performance this past weekend at the Upstate Challenge hosted by Cornell University.

His season debut in the triple jump was well worth the wait as he produced a solid opening performance of 14.26 meters to place in third. He was the top Division III jumper in the event. He was also fifth in the long jump at 6.74 meters, and produced a personal best at 200 meters in 24.13 seconds.

The men's and women's track & field teams return to action this Saturday, as they are set to host the Pioneer Open at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
