Kaci Ryder has been selected as a Pioneer Athlete of the Week for the week of November 25th.
Ryder came up huge in the Pioneers' 2-1 overtime victory against bitter rival Nazareth, getting important ice time in the extra period and sending home a rebound to send the Pioneers over the Golden Flyers with less than a minute remaining. Ryder also nabbed an assist in the first leg of the two-game series, adding an apple on the Pioneers' only Friday goal. Ryder has four goals and seven assists so far in the season, but has no bigger moment than the overtime game-winner on Saturday, marking the highlight of the season for the team thus far.Â
