BETHLEHEM, PA - The Utica University women's cross country team completed the Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh University on Friday afternoon.
Marlo Townsend (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) was the first Pioneer to cross the finish line with a time of 23:06.4. Townsed was followed not far behind by
Catherine Manna (Whitesboro, NY/Whitesboro) who completed the 6k course with a time of 24:00.03.
Lacey Simmons (Vernon Center, NY/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) was the next Pioneers across the line with a time of 24:56.5. Ema Charboneau finished the race with a time of 26:59.7.
Isabella Verdejo (New Hartford, NY/New Hartford), Caroline Young, and
Kamryn Williams (New York Mills, NY/New York Mills) rounded out the Pioneers' competition squad with times of 28:53.6, 29:34.0, and 29:36.8, respectively.
Utica returns to action on Saturday, October 11 as the team travels to nearby Clinto, NY for the Hamilton College Invitational. Start time is set for 12pm.
