LEBANON, PA - Utica University's men's golf team completed the spring portion of the Empire 8 Championship with two rounds at Lebanon Country Club. Factoring in the fall rounds at Teugega Country Club on October 12-13, the Pioneers placed fourth out of eight teams with a total score of 1272 (+136) over a combined par of 1,136. Individually, Utica was paced by a top-seven finish, leading a group with one event remaining on the 2025-26 schedule.
Among the four-round competitors,
Nathan Macdonald (Canton, MA/Canton) led the Pioneers with a +30 total, tying for seventh overall. Freshman
Koltin Pickell (Ellenville, NY/Ellenvlle) continued a strong debut season, tying for 15th at +37.
Aydin Parekh (Nobleton, Ontario/Blyth Academy) and
Neil Roman (Oswego, NY/Oswego) also finished within the top 25, placing 22nd (+42) and 24th (+45), respectively.
Though ineligible for four-round scoring after missing the fall portion,
Louie Roman (Oswego, NY/Oswego) and
Daniel Maloney (Syracuse, NY/Living Word Academy) competed at Lebanon, posting two-round scores of +25 and +31. Roman tied for 26th in the Lebanon-only standings, while Maloney placed 34th.
Utica will close out its season next weekend at the Oswego State Spring Invitational, set for April 25-26 at Oswego Country Club. Tee times are scheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday and 10:30 am on Sunday.
