Biography

2016: He participated in eight meets for the Pioneers during the indoor season … As a thrower he competed in the shot put and the weight throw throughout the season … At the Continental Track & Field Invitational he threw his best mark for the shot put of the season with a distance of 11.98M (1/23/16) … He reached a new personal record in the weight throw with a mark of 14.78M at the Utica College Pioneer Invitational (2/20/16).
 
Throughout the course of the outdoor season he competed in eight different meets for the team … His longest distance in the discus toss was 36.81M which he recorded at the Jerry Gravel Classic (4/16/16) … In the hammer throw he recorded a new personal best at the St. John Fisher College Last Chance Meet with a distance of 47.65M   (5/14/16).

Personal: Hoover is a 2013 graduate of Ilion High School and the son of Christina and Chris Hoover ... He is currently pursuing a degree in Physics.
