2016: Participated at nine different meets for the team throughout the indoor season … He threw shot put and the weight toss events during the season … His best shot put distance of 9.21M was recorded at the Utica College Jen & Todd Hutton Invitational (12/12/15) … At the Utica College Pioneer Invitational he threw his top weight throw distance of the season with a mark of 13.83M (2/20/16).
 
Over the course of the outdoor season he competed at seven meets for the Pioneers … For the spring season he participated in the discus toss and hammer throw events … His top discus toss of the season came at Empire 8 Track & Field Championships with a mark of 37.86M (4/23/16) … At the Hamilton Mid-Week meet he threw a distance of 39.84M for his best hammer throw of the season (4/19/16).

Personal: Rydell is a 2015 graduate of Sullivan West High School and the son of Denise and Timothy Rydell ... He is currently pursuing a degree in History.
