Utica, NY (1/5/15)- Junior Mary Miceli of the Utica College women’s basketball team was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week, Monday for her performance on the hardwood last week.
In three games, Miceli totaled 52 points, 15 rebounds, and seven assists. Her best performance was a 36-point, seven rebound outing in a double-overtime loss to Ithaca on Saturday. Miceli was an impressive 7-for-11 from beyond the arc and also sunk 11-of-12 free throws. On the season, she leads the team and ranks ninth in the conference with 13.6 points per game.
UC returns to action Tuesday as it travels to Hoboken, NJ to face E8 foe Stevens Institute of Technology. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
