UTICA, NY- Utica College senior volleyball player, Lora Allen has been named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for her performance in last week’s games.
 
In five contests Allen led the team with 166 assists. She also had 64 digs, as well as 18 kills.
 
Allen leads the Pioneers and is fourth in the Empire 8 Conference in assists with 753. Allen is also sixth on the team with 73 kills, and also has 277 digs, which is third on the team.  Allen, the program’s career assist leader, currently has 1,995 assists and needs just five more to reach the 2,000-assist milestone for her career. 
 
The Pioneers are back in action Monday night for an away game against Hamilton College. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
