Utica University Athletics

Sophomore Rebecca Brown of the Utica College women’s hockey team was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week on Monday.
 
Brown totaled five points (two goals, three assists) in a weekend sweep of Chatham University.  On Friday, she had the game-winner and added two assists as Utica won 5-2.  She followed that up with a goal and an assist in the Pioneers’ 5-4 victory over the Cougars on Saturday.  On the season, the defenseman-turned-forward leads the team with eight points (four goals, four assists) through six games.
 
The Pioneers return home this weekend as they host UCHC Conference foe, Neumann University for a two-game set.  Game time is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday.
