UTICA, NY – Junior defender Mick Krajacic (Clay, NY) of the Utica College men's lacrosse team was named the College's Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 27.

Krajacic recorded 12 caused turnovers and nine ground balls last week as UC went 0-2. He led the Pioneers' defense against Hamilton College after causing a season-high eight turnovers and he also scooped up five ground balls in the 14-5 loss.

He recorded a team-high four caused turnovers and four ground balls in the Pioneers loss to nationally-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology Saturday.

The junior captain currently leads the team with 26 caused turnovers and he ranks third on the team with 22 ground balls.

The Pioneers will return to the field on Wednesday when they host Oswego State in a non-conference match. The contest is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
