Utica, NY – Sydney Przygoda of the Utica College women’s basketball team has been selected as the UC Female Athlete of the Week.
 
In the two games Utica played last week, Przygoda averaged 12.5 points and 14 rebounds per game to help the team win both matchups. She came up just shy of a double-double in the 73-57 win over MCLA, tallying eight points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Sydney completed the double-double bid during the 71-52 victory against Alfred State, as she finished with career-highs of 17 points and 15 boards. The freshman is currently averaging 11.7 points and 11.5 rebounds per game so far this year.
 
The Pioneers are at home once again on Saturday, as they host the nearby Wildcats from SUNY Poly. The game is set to tip-off at 2 p.m.
