Utica, NY – Freshman Hannah Durant of the Utica College women’s indoor track and field team was selected as the UC Female Athlete of the Week on Monday.
 
During this past weekend’s meet, Hamilton College Continental Invitational, Durant dominated the 60-meter hurdle event. She secured first place in her heat and overall in the preliminary rounds with a time of 9.91. Hannah would continue on to the finals heat and win with an even better mark of 9.89, a personal best time for the 60-meter hurdles.
 
The Pioneers will be hosting their next meet, as the Pioneer Open is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday.
